: I live in Williamsburg, brooklyn. I have lived in this house for 4 years and have restored the house myself, the lanlords have never raised the rent, Is it legal for me to charge my roomate more than half plus half o the utilities? I feel guilty, but have spent lots of money fixing the place up. Im charging a reasonble amount and plan on spending the extra to fix it up more. This is a house and there is no written lease.
