#1 The landlord was being VERY kind and decent to you BECAUSE YOU WERE PREGNANT by giving you at least 6 months notice they were not going to renew your lease because you VIOLATED the lease by having a dog ..They could have demanded you get rid of the dog in 10 DAYS or face eviction.

#2 You repay that generosity by witholding rent? Then when served with papers not show up in court...

Am I missing something here?????????????

Just pay the judgement and have it posted to your credit report.

: In addition to what I said before,
: We never got a chance to tell our side in court, I was 6 months pregnant when we received the summons, and we never went to court. The judgment was entered because we were absent. At this point I feel we are entitled to reopen the case and present the law, which is posted right here on the website (the three month law). I did not really leave willingly. We would have still been living there, if we were not served with the letter to leave. I felt like we had no other options, and had to incur alot of expenses because of the building making us leave.
: This judgment is now ruining my otherwise perfect credit, and I would like to get it wiped off if possible, is there still a chance for this?
