I hope you do your research about small claims court. Some small
claims courts (depending on your state) awards non-binding
decisions; in other words, non-enforceable. Example: in Texas
if I were taken to small claims court and the decision was against
me; legally I would not have to pay it. The most a person could
do is put it on my credit. Please do homework. Hope things work-
out. Down with all bad landlords.
