: My question is in regard to certain changes in a leasing argeement. I live in MD (Prince George's County) and the original lease said nothing about late fees and lock out or evection. However, although there is no written lease, we did have a verbal agreement. The intented changes include a penalty for late payment, a lock out date (basically 5 day after payment is late) and eviction date (5-6 days after lock out date or 10-11 days after payment is due). There are other changes such as moving the dues date for rent forward 5 day earlier in the month, and utility increases (percentage wise). Basically, I just need to know if I'm right in believing these "changes" to the original agreement are illegal. Please respond to the e-mail account as I probably won't be able to find this page again. Thanks....

dunno.
