Regaurding Ending a lease

Posted by August on February 23, 2000 at 21:03:01:

Location; Ormond Beach, Florida
Renting a two bedroom house with a one year written lease agreement

Upon moving into my residence i have found numerious things wrong and not in proper working order. The most of my concerns is the electrical. You have to turn off the water heater before running the dryer which came with the house. Also numerious outlets give off electrical shock. I am about to have a baby and would like these things fixed. I sent a certified letter on october 29th, 1999 listing all things wrong and not in proper working order but have not gotten a response. I would like to know now since my baby will be here in April, how do i get out of this lease and this health threating house? Much advice is needed and appreciated!
