Yeah but a landlord is not going to accept a sub-let canidate. Besides I doubt
that we are speaking of a rent stabilised property here, are we?

Also, it sounds like you were the one who was determined to be the attacker.
He may very well use that to get an order of protection from you so he can keep
you out of the apartment.
