i live in a house in ulster county ny. We are being asked to leave(a new owner is taking over). We have no lease but we do have a
security deposit of $750.00. We don't want to pay last months rent. Could you tell me what are rights are and what laws my landlord
didn't follow. I fear if we pay last months rent we will never see our deposit again. The house is in good shape and looks like it did
three years ago. thanks!
