My daughter rented an appartment in Toledo with a 1 yr lease. her grandfather was a co signer.the lease was up in dec 99 she paid jan 2000 rent then moved out before feb 1 00 with out notice. she had a 100. pet dep and 345.rent dep. is the grandfather responcible now for carpet replacement,and 1mth extra rent.an key dep for appartment.because she moved without 30 day notice? the landlord sent him a letter requesting reimbursement for over 500. is he still obligated even thou he didnt resign on a new lease?
