I am at what I hope is the tail end of a long standing
reduction in services complaint. I've noticed something
interesting in recent months -- the DHCR seems to be getting
a lot quicker. The case was reopened in late August and, after
submissions from both sides, a decision was made in December.
Other tenants (we all have similar disputes) have observed
the same thing. By contrast, when this dispute started in the
early nineties it would take YEARS for things to happen.
Is this a quirk or have other people experienced this?
