What you do is use your security for the last months rent but don't tell the landlord. That way you won't have to worry about him holding your security.
He must pay the locksmith because the landlord has a duty to keep all locks in proper working order and they called the locksmith. There is one thing you forgot to tell the landlord................drop dead !!
