I have 2 questions: Are late fees on rent legal? this is for a non-rent stabalized apt in east williamsburgh Brooklyn w/3 units. AND is it legal for a new owner to hike the rent of a non-stabalized apt. in Fort Greene brooklyn w/6 units at the end of the lease?the rent is jumping from 900.00 to 1500.00!!!! it's only a one bedroom!
