subtenant refuses to leave!

Posted by m on January 16, 2000 at 18:24:57:

i sublet my nyc, rent-stabilized apt. and now, at the end of the legal sublet,
the sublettor refuses to leave! will my landlord come after me? will it go on
my record? how do i get the guy out? should i get an attorney? will it run my credit?
does the sublettor have any right to squat? i told him 2.5 months in advance! can
i sue him for legal fees et. al? should i act jointly with the landlord? what
are my rights?
