Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
HEAP helps qualified senior citizen homeowners or tenants, and
also non-senior low-income families with their fuel and utility costs. You are
eligible for heap through the Department for the Aging (DFTA) if:
- You meet income guidelines, and you are 60 years of age or older
- Or you are the head of household and receive Social Security Disability
- Or you live alone or with a spouse only and receive SSI Code A
