Community Information and Referral Services, Inc. (CIRS), is a nonprofit human service organization which gathers and provides information of vital concern in order to assist people in need. We serve people by helping them find the agency or organization that can assist them with their specific problem or need.

CIRS is a free service based in Phoenix, Arizona. While we serve primarily Arizona, we have information on numerous agencies and organizations that serve national and international areas. We can be reached by e-mail (cirs@cirs.org), phone (602-264-8845) or fax (602-263-0979) 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Through the use of computerized resource files, CIRS maintains updated information on more than 2,300 agencies and other organizations. CIRS also provides specialized agency labels and categorical lists by service, county, zip code, etc at minimal cost.

Landlord/Tenant Information Referral Helpline (LTIRH)

CIRS announced that it now offers a new, statewide service providing inoformation on AZ residential landlord-tenant law. The CIRS LTIRH is a free, bilingual service available to all renters and landlords throughout AZ. LTIRH will operate Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm through the CIRS helplines, 602-263-8856 (Maricopa County), 1-800-352-3792 (throughout AZ).

PROBLEMS AND CONCERNS THAT ARISE FROM THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RESIDENTIAL LANDLORDS AND THEIR TENANTS MAY INCLUDE MATTERS OF RENT PAYMENTS, SECURITY DEPOSITS, CONDITION OF PROPERTY AND THE PERSONAL CONDUCT OF EITHER PARTY. AZ TENANTS AND LANDLORDS WHO CALL CIRS AND REQUEST INFORMATION WILL RECEIVE GENERAL ASSISTANCE, NOT LEGAL ADVICE.
