                                     PETITIONER
          -------------------------------------x

ORDER AND OPINION GRANTING PETITION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW

          On March 18, 1992, the above-named petitioner-owner filed a
petition for administrative review (PAR) of an order issued on
March 5, 1992, by the Rent Administrator, concerning the housing
accommodation known as 255 Eastern Parkway, Apt.#D6, Brooklyn,
N.Y., wherein the Administrator denied the owner's rent restoration
          application.

The Commissioner has reviewed all of the evidence in the record and
has carefully considered that portion of the record relevant to the
issues raised by the administrative appeal.

The Division's records reveal that the rent reduction which the
owner sought to have restored in Docket No. FA210213OR was revoked
by the Commissioner in an order and opinion issued on May 22, 1991
granting the owner's petition for administrative review (Docket No.
EI210258RO) of that order (Docket No. DD210465S).  Since there is
no rent reduction in effect, the rent restoration proceeding is
          moot.

THEREFORE, in accordance with the Rent Stabilization Law and Code,
          it is

ORDERED, that this petition be, and the same hereby is, granted and
that the Rent Administrator's order be, and the same hereby is,
          revoked.

          ISSUED:

                                                    JOSEPH A. D'AGOSTA
                                                    DEPUTY COMMISSIONER
