                      ORDER AND OPINION TERMINATING PROCEEDING

               On March 23, 1989, the above-named landlord filed a petition 
          for administrative review of an order issued on February 24, 1989 
          by the Rent Administrator concerning the housing accommodation 
          known as Apartment 4A, 260 Fort Washington Avenue, New York, New 
          York.

               By letter dated July 18, 1994, the landlord withdrew his 
          petition for administrative review.  The Commissioner is 
          accordingly of the opinion that this proceeding should be 
          terminated.

               THEREFORE, in accordance with the City Rent and Rehabilitation 
          Law and the Rent and Eviction Regulations, it is 

               ORDERED, that this proceeding be, and the same hereby is, 
          terminated.
