DHCR Petition for Administrative Review (PAR) Decisions

In 1994, under pressure from tenant advocates, DHCR released approximately 6,000 PAR decisions. After Governor Pataki took office in 1995, DHCR refused to release other decisions in bulk. These decisions generally cover the 1990-1994 period and in many cases do not reflect current law or DHCR practice. The reader is cautioned to be aware of changes to the Rent Stabilization Law, the Rent Stabilization Code and DHCR practice since 1994. Also this database does not include all decisions prior to 1994 as DHCR intentionally withheld many decisions for unknown reasons.

                         ORDER AND OPINION CORRECTING ORDER

On March 10, 1993 the Commissioner issued an order denying the
subject landlord's petition for administrative review of an order
issued by the Administrator under the above-captioned docked
number, concerning the housing accommodations known as 1820 Madison
          Street, Ridgewood, New York.

Due to a clerical error the last paragraph of the
Commissioner's order mistakenly stated that the landlord's petition
is affirmed.  The last paragraph of the Commissioner's order should
          have read as follows:

ORDERED, that this petition be, and the same hereby is,
denied, and that the Administrator's order be, and the
               same hereby is, affirmed.

THEREFORE, it is ordered that the Commissioner's order issued
under Administrative Review Docket No. BF120443RO be, and the same
hereby is, corrected solely to the extent of correcting the last
paragraph so that it states as follows:

ORDERED, that this petition be, and the same hereby is,
denied, and that the Administrator's order be, and the
               same hereby is, affirmed.

          ISSUED:

                                             Joseph A. D'Agosta
                                             Acting Deputy Commissioner
